Our Classic program will match you with a welcoming host family and place you in a nearby school. We find the host family and choose the school, and you can enjoy immersing yourself in local culture & community. These are perfect for students who:

Be at least 15 years old on arrival and no more than 18 years on the last day of the program period. Allergies and dietary requirements must be indicated clearly on the application and if students need a specific food that is not served by the host family, the student must purchase additional items for themselves. Unfortunately, vegans can not be accommodated on this program. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
An online language course is recommended prior to departure. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
Programs are available for 3 Months, an Academic Semester or Academic Year.

You will be enrolled in a local high school, called a Gymnasium if aged over 16. You will select subjects based on the stream of study you choose. Each school has at least one stream focusing on mathematics and natural science, foreign languages, and social studies. Subjects are taught in Danish and the work will often be in small research groups. Students must bring their laptop and will be expected to be responsible for their own learning. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
Compulsory subjects include classical studies including Danish, English, History, Mathematics, Physical Education and Social Studies.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Students are required to be vaccinated and have received their standard childhood vaccinations for their age group. Covid-19 is recommended (not compulsory).<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Students require a visa for Academic Semester and Academic Year programs. For short 3 month exchange programs, students will travel on a tourist visa. Further information will be provided by your Program Coordinator.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n
